    1. Introduction

    This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the use of QR Genie services. By using QR Genie, you agree to comply with this policy.

    QR Genie reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy.

    2. Prohibited Activities

    You may NOT use QR Genie to:

    Illegal Content

    • Promote unlawful activities
    • Distribute illegal products or services
    • Share content that violates South African or international laws

    Fraud & Scams

    • Phishing schemes
    • Fake investment schemes
    • Impersonation
    • Misleading redirects

    Malware & Harmful Content

    • Distribute viruses, malware, spyware
    • Redirect to harmful websites
    • Use QR codes for malicious software downloads

    Intellectual Property Violations

    • Share copyrighted material without permission
    • Use trademarks unlawfully

    Hate, Violence & Abuse

    • Promote hate speech
    • Encourage violence
    • Harassment or abusive content

    Adult Content

    • Pornographic content (especially involving minors — strictly prohibited)
    • Exploitative or illegal adult services

    3. Abuse of Platform Resources

    You may not:

    • Generate excessive QR codes to overload the system
    • Attempt to bypass scan limits
    • Manipulate analytics data
    • Use automation or bots to inflate scans
    • Reverse engineer the platform

    4. Payment QR Code Restrictions

    If using QR Genie for payment QR codes:

    • You must comply with financial regulations
    • You may not use QR codes for money laundering
    • You may not promote unlicensed financial services

    5. Enforcement

    QR Genie may:

    • Suspend QR codes
    • Disable dynamic redirects
    • Terminate accounts
    • Remove content
    • Report illegal activity to authorities
    No refunds will be issued for accounts terminated due to policy violations.

    6. Reporting Abuse

    If you believe a QR code violates this policy, contact:
